Eric can build on more than 20 years’ operational expertise in industrial manufacturing of pharmaceutical vaccines production and major food industry. He is an experienced leader driving continuous improvement with the highest quality and safety standards.
Before joining Promethera, he was Manufacturing Science & Technology Director at GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) vaccines unit and Site Head where he managed all aspects of the Manufacturing Performance Unit with more than 500 employees.
In recent years, his leadership contributed to the successful accomplishment of major projects in terms of quality and robustness such as the investment of €32 million for facility modernizations leading to a significant production yield increase of 40%.
Eric started his career at Danone, a world-leading food company, from 1990 to 1997 he held several functions going from Quality Assurance to Production Manager before joining GSK where he was in charge of several bulk production units.
He has a Masters’ Degree in Industrial Engineering which he obtained at the ISI in Huy, Belgium where he graduated with high distinction.
